The Oracle & The Ephors

Made as part of a tabletop game jam with the theme "Resolution", The Oracle & The Ephors placed 2nd overall.

A social deduction game inspired by the ancient Greek mystics from the 9th century BCE. The game is all about interpreting the messages of the Oracle who gives their wisdom in the form of simple words.

The Ephors must ultimately agree on what the Oracle want, if not, the ethereal connections weaken and the next Oracle has fewer cards to communicate with.

If too many conflicts go unresolved the connection will break and the game will end.

The Oracle & The Ephors win if they can resolve all the conflicts and keep the ethereal connection intact.
